Open House London, the capital’s biggest architecture festival, throws open the doors of hundreds of buildings giving Londoners the chance to see the best of the city’s architecture.
As part of Lambeth’s participation I invited visitors into the Mayors parlour at Lambeth Town Hall, with Cllrs Irene Kimm, John Whelan and Brian Palmer showing visitors around the council chamber and other historic parts of the town hall.
It was great to meet people who for the majority of them was their first chance to view Lambeths historic town hall.
